I have been employed and a loyal customer with Safeway since 1984. recently I was terminated after I was off work for 6 months due to a off the job back injury. upon returning to work at the Safeway bread plant in Bellevue Washington I was terminated by new superintendent Robert Rutledge. my last day worked on oct 20,2014 I make a mistake and was fired. I have been there 30 years ,I was production foreman for 20 years and acted as a relief plant supervisor for 12 years. I had two more years and I could have retired. Extremely sad how employees are treated. All my friends and family say they will never shop at Safeway again.
