Linda Mar Safeway has ample parking, a few nice checkers and some pretty good buys. Now for the negative:::: Nov 5th, the computer tells me I have 3 free items on just for you. That%u2019s great except the store only has one of the items. So I waste a half an hour looking for the other two. This happens all the time. Then we have produce. It%u2019s not kept up very well and several items have no prices. I can%u2019t put something in my cart if I don%u2019t know the price and not usually anyone to ask. Now to customer service where two, not so friendly women work. One has been there forever and the other one is new. I was overcharged twice on my bill. I was well prepared to explain. She acted as though I was trying to get away with something. She begrudgingly gave me my money back with an unpleasant look. I can%u2019t believe a person working for a business would act like this. Doesn%u2019t she realize I went all the way home and had to make a special trip back because of their mistake and wait in line to complain. My time, my gas. Where have manners gone? What happen to %u201C I%u2019m so sorry you had this problem. Thank you for shopping Safeway. %u201C The manager is never there anymore, unless he%u2019s off the days I shop. Now we have 10 or 20 cents off a gallon of gas. I just found out if you buy $89 worth of groceries that can be applied you have 89 points. When you have 100 points you get one bonus point for 10 cents off one gallon of gas. Now if you happen to buy your groceries on the 30th of Oct you loose those points Nov 1st. This doesn%u2019t make any sense. If you had a bonus point of 100 it would stay on till Nov 30th. I wish my venting would produce some results. I%u2019m not a constant complainer or unfair. I%u2019m just a nice lady who wants Safeway to be a little more friendly and run smoother
